Hi folks, after far too long here is the recording of my 2016 tour show Speakeasy.
I decided to release it during the Coronavirus lockdown for three main reasons. Firstly, following the release of The Darkness Of Robins on Netflix an awful lot of work getting that out had come to fruition and my inner completist got restless. Secondly, I had a significant amount of time to listen back to it and get it mixed. Finally, and most gladdeningly, because many of you had asked me to.
It's very strange to revisit a show from so far in the past, my other recordings had all gone onto Bandcamp when I was still performing them, not sat on a hard drive for four years. Luckily, however, listening back was not the self-flagellatory cringe-fest I had feared and I found myself laughing, and remembering whole routines I had completely forgotten about. I have recorded a spoken word introduction of sorts, to go into a little more detail about the process.
This recording was taken from the Manchester date of the 2016 Speakeasy tour and was mixed by (Producer) Vinay Joshi. I've released it for £5 or Pay What You Want, and 10% of all proceeds will go to the charity Standing Together Against Domestic Violence. You can find out more about their incredible work at www.standingtogether.org.uk

When you say album, are you using the Arabic for 'the' when you say 'al'? What do i think of the bum? Daniel Kitson as the bum or the bum as an entity in itself? Although the bum as an entity in itself would be a bit weird, so I'll assume you mean Daniel Kitson as the bum, yeah I love 'im, bloody wordy geezer. blimey100
